Getting engagement photos in Ireland is really a fantastic way to mark the occasion plus, it gets you ready for the photography on your big day. Nearly all my couples are a bit nervous in front of the camera and have never had a professional photoshoot done. This shoot helps alleviate those nerves and you get an extra variety of beautiful photos to mark your engagement.
You can even use these photos in your wedding planning for a guest signing book or on your invitations. I work with you to choose your location for your engagement photos. In Dublin we are spoilt for choice with the city centre, parks, beaches, hilltops and forests. I also offer engagement shoots in Wicklow. This is a really magical experience.

We then arrange a call (or two) to go over the details of the shoot. This is particularly important if it is a secret proposal engagement shoot
Time of day: When possible I try to push a sunset shoot. Starting time would be around 60min before sunset for the one hour shoots or 2 hours before sunset for the longer shoots such as a Wicklow shoot.
Most couples like to keep things smart-casual. I love to see the couples personal style but guide them in terms of colour and patterns to suit. If you do want to go a little smarter I would suggest to stay wearing flats or comfortable shoes because we do a lot of walking!
I give you a brief outline of how I shoot and work with my couples. Super chilled and relaxed approach is what I am all about. I guide you through simple poses that will just focus on your love and togetherness.

This is shoot is for those couples who love the buss of the city and enjoy a more urban landscape as their backdrop. We will spend up to 90 min walking around the city. Starting in Stephens Green or The Iveagh, walking through the lanes of Grafton street and ending any a discussed desired location such as Temple Bar or The Guinness Store House. There will certainly be a Guinness drink shot in a Dublin pub
This is a great opportunity to experience both Howth summit and the stunning view it has to offer with a finish off sunset shoot at Burrow Beach in Sutton. This beach has quite possibly the loveliest sunsets I have seen. If you have time we can nip to the Bloody Stream Pub for a Guinness shot!
