Patrick had been planning his secret proposal on the Cliffs of Howth to Anelese for a couple of month before their arrival. He was unsure about where to get engagement photography in Dublin done but I quickly guided him to a few different locations. We settled on Howth!
He opted for my two hour Howth Experience package which brings couples on different locations. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get to one of them due to the rain but thankfully the rain held off for the secret proposal on the Cliffs of Howth.
We managed to get down to the Bloody Stream for a pint of Guinness shot, hair wet and all before I dropped them off for their lovely dinner at Aqua (one of my favourite spots to recommend to couples after their shoot!)
Things to expect or prepare yourself for when getting engagement photography in Dublin:
- It might rain – embrace it! Bring a brollie!
- It might be cold – always dress warm – it might feel a lot warmer in Dublin than it is on the Cliffs of Howth – Howth is colder in general.
- Wear comfy shoes – this is a cliff walk so it’s very important that you stress to your partner not to wear fancy shoes/heels!
