Planning a wedding can bring up a lot of questions, especially about capturing those perfect moments. Dive into my FAQ section where I’ve answered some of the most common curiosities. From camera jitters to photo deliveries, I’ve got your back. Let’s make this journey smooth together!

I’m a bit camera-shy. How do you handle portraits?

No worries at all! Most of my couples feel the same way, and so do I. My approach is relaxed and natural. I focus on capturing genuine moments between you two rather than overly posed shots. With a mix of creativity, the results are always heartfelt and artistic.

To ease any nerves and get some practice in ahead of the big day, I have set a reduced rate on engagement shoots for my wedding couples.

How long should we allocate for our couples shoot?

Typically, it’s between 20-40 minutes. I follow your lead. Most couples prefer a brief dedicated shoot, allowing more time to capture the day’s events. I’ll suggest a plan, but always remember, if you’re ready to wrap up, just let me know!

If you wish for a longer session, we can discuss how to fit it seamlessly into your day.

What if you’re unfamiliar with our wedding venue?

No worries! I’ll visit the venue beforehand to familiarise myself with the surroundings. I’ll also coordinate with your wedding planner to ensure everything runs smoothly on the big day.

How many photos will we receive?

Depending on your chosen package, you’ll receive between 200-800 edited images. They’ll be shared via a private online gallery, available for high-resolution download.

Are the photos watermarked?

Absolutely not! You’ll receive high-resolution, unmarked images.

When can we expect our photos?

Your complete set will be ready within 6-9 weeks post-wedding. However, you’ll get a sneak peek within a week! Do note, if your wedding is just before Christmas, the timeline extends to 12 weeks due to the holiday season.

When will our album be delivered?

After you’ve selected your photos and approved the album layout, it’ll be ready within 6-8 weeks. This timeline might extend during the Christmas rush.

Can you modify our appearance in the photos?

I can enhance skin tones and reduce facial lines. However, I won’t drastically alter appearances or swap people in and out of photos. For extensive edits, I recommend a professional editor, which would incur additional charges.

Is there a contract involved?

Yes, once you decide to book, I’ll send a contract for review. A 20% deposit of the final price is required to secure the booking.

What’s the process after we book?

After booking and contract signing, I’m here for you! Whether it’s advice or queries, just drop an email or call. I’ll provide a wedding planner checklist and a list of trusted vendors that align with my style.

For those who’ve opted for my top packages, we’ll schedule our engagement shoot. As your wedding day approaches, I’ll send a detailed questionnaire to understand your plans. We’ll have a final discussion, either via call or Zoom, to finalise details.

And then, the magic happens on your wedding day!

This is a fabulous chance for us to meet and for you to get comfy in front of the camera before your big day. PLUS more photos!

PLAN OF ACTION

A couple of weeks before the wedding I will be in touch with a questionnaire for you to full out all the details of your day. We then arrange a final call/zoom chat to go over everything. This is to make sure I know exactly what’s happening on your day and leave it to just unfold. In front of my cameras!

YOUR DAY

For 95% of the day, I am a fly on the wall. You will forget I’m there but if you need me I’ve always got my eye on you. For your portraits we will be together and I will guide you through an easy and relaxed session. Simple, sweet poses that bring out the love that’s already there.

Seeing your photos on print in a stunning album brings the experience the a whole other level. You just can’t compare it to seeing it on screen. This book is something to cherish for the rest of your lives and will go on long after you are gone.

I guide you through this process. There is no rush, it takes time to choose your images but when you’re ready we make the stunning book together.
