Tankardstown House has to be one of my favourite venues to shoot at. From it’s exquisitely kept lawns and gardens to the elegant interiors, the visual stimulation is simply fantastic. Their service and organisation are second to none and the staff exude professionalism yet still manage to create a ‘down to earth’ atmosphere. I would like to extend a big thank you to all the staff who took care of me the night of Emma and Patrick’s wedding.

I first met Emma and Patrick when I shot their newborn baby Jack. This was actually a gift from one of my past clients to them. The shoot went so well they decided to book me for their wedding day the following year.

Bridal and groom prep started out in Cabra, where there was a beautiful hive of activity with family members and friends coming and going. I will never forget the reception Emma got from everyone when she walked into the living room once ready. It was very emotional. The ceremony took place in the Precious Blood Church just around the corner and then we were all off to the fabulous Tankardstown House.

As Emma and Patrick arrived the clouds cleared and the sun beamed down on them. It was stunning. The wedding party all lounged outside while we went for family portraits. Portraits took place in the statued gardens of Tankardstown House. There were constant giggles and banter which made what was a very large family portrait session really enjoyable for all involved.

During the speeches, we were all surprised by the Singing Waiters who had people up on chairs and throwing their ties and napkins around. I have to say, if you are thinking about getting the Singing Waiters for your wedding, DO!! There will be no regrets.

I had such a great time at their wedding. I really felt like I was part of the party and that is thanks to such a wonderful group of people. Emma and Patrick are kind, warm and really beautiful people. Their families are loud, fun and incredibly funny. I will never forget that magical day at Tankardstown House.

Thank you, Emma and Patrick and Jack xx
