History of a Kilronan Castle Wedding Venue

Kilronan Castle is an 18th-century manor house located in Ireland’s beautiful County Roscommon. Its elegant stately design and sprawling, lush landscape make the perfect backdrop for your special day. While it was completed in 1790, historical records show that building began in 1217 when the landowners at the time first constructed a castle on the site. While it later became known as mostly a hotel and spa, many couples have discovered its beauty for wedding ceremonies and receptions over recent years. With such a rich history and stunning surroundings, it’s no wonder it remains one of Ireland’s most popular wedding venues to this day.

Aish and Paul’s Story

Aish’s meticulous planning meant that the day went off without a hitch. There wasn’t one thing that Aish didn’t think of. Her wedding planner at the venue even mentioned how organised she was. This meant that both Aish and Paul could enjoy their day without worrying about a thing.

Paul gifted Aish with the most incredible Valentino shoes that complimented her stunningly classic Suzanne Neville dress and polka dot veil. LOVE!!! A princess with sass!

Even though we had a terrible day of rain, that didn’t stop the couple from braving the elements and getting their pics done. Images that they will look back on and be proud of. Don’t let the rain get you down! Photographs in the rain can be some of the best!

The couple shone with love for one another and the people they had around them. It was pure magic from beginning to end for me and I loved being a part of it.
