Tribute to Girl Power xxxx

Anyone who knows my beautiful sister, Debbie and her adorable daughter, Hannah knows that this past year hasn’t exactly dealt them the best hand.. I have been meaning to do a portrait session for sometime now but I’m glad, that a year on, much stronger, happier and more beautiful than ever, I waited. These two young ladies are testament to how love can help us move from the most painful of situations we will ever experience. Their love for one another is eminent in their everyday lives and of course will be in their portraits. Debbie, you are SUPERMOM and Hannah, you are just the cutest little thing who is growing up SO FAST!

Aside from being my family and I love you unconditionally.. I have so much respect for you and will always be in awe of your strength. Go girl power! Women rock!!! xxxx

Day at the beach with The Green Family

blog 1Mairead and Micheal are another family that have been with me since the start of my photography venture in Ireland. I first photographed little Lauren when she was just seven months old and she was the cutest little girl. She loved the camera which made my work so easy. I then was asked to photograph her 1st birthday party which was a great day and helped alleviate the stress of taking photos on a very busy day for them. Now, nearly two years later they have a new little edition to their family, Conor, who is just as adorable as his sister.blog 6

Taking advantage of the summer we set off to Balbriggan Beach for the family shoot. The day was cloudy but as a photographer I cannot stress how much a few clouds help to create great shots. Lauren just ran around the beach having fun and we all ran after her getting soaked in the process. Lesson learned when doing a beach shoot, don’t wear shoes and bring a change of clothes! The photos were natural and full of emotion, I am so happy with them.

This blog is a huge tribute to Mairead and Micheal who I don’t see just as clients but as friends. I look forward to working with you for the years to come. You guys are are so lovely. xxx

Aga, Darren and Klara

Aga came 2nd in one of my portrait competitions so we decided to work outside when it was a lovely day. We chose the outdoor parks where they live in Stepaside, Dublin. These opportunities cannot be missed because they make for such natural photographs that bring out the best in the whole family. Little Klara had his all running around after her but was the most happy, lovely child. Both Aga and Darren are such great people and I look forward to shooting the Christening soon.collage 2collage
