Revisiting Clients in London, The Doherty’s

Two years ago my cousin Kirstie asked me to go over to London and do a family portrait for her. It was great, we had loads of fun in the garden as we were blessed with a beautiful day and Caitlin was just so good! So I was very excited to go back to meet their new arrival, Charlotte and do some family/newborn shots. Tea, coffee, cake and more cake later we managed to get a good variety with all involved. Thank you guys for thinking of me again and I am so happy you love the pics. Its so great to be a part of a family growing up! xx

Day at the beach with The Green Family

blog 1Mairead and Micheal are another family that have been with me since the start of my photography venture in Ireland. I first photographed little Lauren when she was just seven months old and she was the cutest little girl. She loved the camera which made my work so easy. I then was asked to photograph her 1st birthday party which was a great day and helped alleviate the stress of taking photos on a very busy day for them. Now, nearly two years later they have a new little edition to their family, Conor, who is just as adorable as his sister.blog 6

Taking advantage of the summer we set off to Balbriggan Beach for the family shoot. The day was cloudy but as a photographer I cannot stress how much a few clouds help to create great shots. Lauren just ran around the beach having fun and we all ran after her getting soaked in the process. Lesson learned when doing a beach shoot, don’t wear shoes and bring a change of clothes! The photos were natural and full of emotion, I am so happy with them.

This blog is a huge tribute to Mairead and Micheal who I don’t see just as clients but as friends. I look forward to working with you for the years to come. You guys are are so lovely. xxx

Rebecca and Savannah Kelly

Savannah and Rebecca had won my Toddlers Portrait Competition and although she was thrilled, Rebecca had her heart set on a beautiful day where we could work in St Annes Park and get the most out of the natural light and colours as we could. So, after many, rainy day postponing the day had finally arrived. Both Mum and daughter looked beautiful and Savannah was great to work with. One big learning curve though, stay well away from the playground if you want a shoot to carry on longer! Thankfully we had got most of the shots we wanted and left Savannah to play away. Really happy you like the photos girls, was great to meet you both. xx
